InfraRecorder: Free Burning Software Never Worked So Good!

Over the years, I have used several different products to burn music, software, or data onto a disk. I’ve used pay products like Nero and Roxio, as well as a few others and have become quite disappointed in recent years. Most of the aforementioned software started out great but became unusable after development updates. Either the software is too complicated to use, is limited in functionality, or it tries to take over my computer with “extras” built into the software. Then, about 6 months ago, I was shown by a friend a new software called InfraRecorder and I was stunned. I finally got the old style of burning software I enjoyed without the annoying extras I found distasteful.

XMPP: An Open Messaging Protocol

Now you’re probably thinking “Oh great… ANOTHER instant messenger.” If you’re like most IM fans you probably have a long list of IM accounts on many different networks. Of course everyone has their favorite (be it AIM, MSN, ICQ, the list goes on…) but rarely do you and all of your friends agree on a favorite. These networks are all closed in nature meaning that a person with an MSN account cannot converse with a person on the AIM network. There ARE IM clients out there that allow you to connect to many different networks simultaneously but still you’re stuck remembering account information for half a dozen networks.
